Damien Hirst has spent a lot of money on diamonds to produce perhaps the most expensive artwork of our times, "For the Love of God", a diamond encrusted human skull. He has found the original skull in a small shop in Islington.
Is the idea to make a skull out of diamonds kind of revolutionary one? Perhaps not, Damien Hirst has done more inventive works, but the shocker for this one was the price of diamonds itself, as well as a quantity of shiny minerals covering the skull.
